Introduction
Motion Design & Animation is where storytelling meets movement — from my bachelor's graduation project, an animated short built on real research into how children learn, to promotional pieces created during my internship at Dyrdee Media. This section spans 2D and 3D animation, character design, and motion graphics developed for both personal projects and real client work.
Little Giants.
/2025Little Giants is an animated short mixing 2D and 3D that teaches kids about emotional intelligence, grounded in thesis research on how children learn through audiovisual media. Drawing on Mayer's cognitive theory of multimedia learning and Paivio's dual coding theory, the project explores how character design, color, and shape build real emotional and cognitive connections with young viewers.
I lovegg u.
/2024I lovegg u, is a comedic, dramatic love story set entirely in the kitchen — where an unlikely romance between an egg and a bacon strip unfolds against the odds, proving that love can find its way anywhere. This project was created during my time at university, exploring character design and storytelling through a playful, food-based world.
Alternative Universe
/2024Alternative Universe is a surreal, absurdist world where the rules of reality don't apply. Created as a 2D animation, this project leans fully into the strange and unexpected — exploring just how far a concept can go when logic is thrown out the window.
Disney × Müller
/2025Disney × Müller — Fantastische Festtage was created during my internship at Dyrdee Media. I received footage, backgrounds, and product images — combining product shots to create a sense of movement, editing the footage together, and adding the products to the endcard. The video's opening also needed to work for the German market: the on-screen text was originally in English, so I recreated the scene in Photoshop and After Effects, replacing it with "Festtags-Spaß für deine Kleinen”.
Disney × Smyths Toys
/2025Disney × Smyths Toys Superstores is a TV commercial created during my internship at Dyrdee Media. Disney provided movie clips and product photography, and I brought it all to life — editing the footage together and designing the endcard to showcase the products.
