Introduction
From first frame to final cut, I lead the entire production process — planning the shots, filming on location, and shaping the story in post. My focus is on people and moments: capturing real, authentic footage that goes beyond the surface. From portraits and interviews to event coverage and behind-the-scenes content, I handle every stage — camera work, editing, color grading, and sound — always working with intention from concept to delivery.
Kreuzberg
Gringo de Janeiro
What happens when you step out of your comfort zone and ask a complete stranger if they'd let you into their world? Gringo de Janeiro is a documentary-style piece born from that exact question — walking the streets of Kreuzberg with no plan beyond curiosity, and turning an unscripted conversation with a stranger into a short film. The result is raw, unfiltered, and shaped entirely by the moment.

Challenges
This one had two layers. The first was the approach itself — working alongside Helena Jahn, we had to walk up to a stranger on the street and convince them, on the spot, to talk to us about Kreuzberg with no script and no guarantee they'd say yes.
The second was technical. Strong wind and shifting sunlight throughout the shoot worked against us, making both audio and lighting harder to control than expected. Even so, we managed to salvage and shape the sound into something clean, and the final piece came together despite the conditions.
B-roll piece, My Hood
A sensory journey through the essence of Kreuzberg, told through a series of distinct camera shots that capture the neighborhood's raw, layered character. The edit plays with anticipation — each cut holds the promise of what comes next, guiding the audience between moments of calm and an underlying unease that never fully resolves. Sound design, built through foley and special effects, does as much storytelling as the image itself, shaping tension the visuals only hint at. The result is a piece that keeps you watching not because you know what's coming, but because you don't.

Challenges
Capturing the right shots meant constantly adapting to the street — Kreuzberg doesn't wait for you, so getting the framing and timing right often meant shooting fast and staying flexible on location. The bigger challenge came in post: building the sound design from scratch. With foley and special effects, every texture and tension in the piece had to be created rather than simply recorded, which meant layering sound until it matched the rhythm and mood the edit was going for.
