Introduction
Punch is a vertical, tutorial-style social media video showing how a boxing glove was made to hit my face — entirely through AI. I filmed myself, then used AI to generate the impact, adding motion-designed subtitles and visual effects on top. The project doubles as both content and a behind-the-scenes breakdown of the process.

On social media, retention in those opening seconds directly impacts how far the algorithm pushes a video, so the hook wasn't just a creative choice, it was a strategic one. From there, the video shifts into tutorial mode, breaking down exactly how the effect was made, with motion-designed subtitles and effects layered throughout to keep the pacing tight and engaging.
